Not only a great tuner but knows the mechical side as well and pays attention to detail,
I see you got the new anti-polish liners. Is the aftermarket doin this now as well? I'm not completely sold on the anti-polish ring yet. I really like IPDs cat stuff. I'd like to see first hand the cummins stuff they offer. Sweet build though. Should be great

I'm definitely not sold on those either, I reckon they're just introducing another area for issues. Unfortunately you can only buy the older stuff as individual components and not in an overhaul kit so the price goes crazy. I believe most the aftermarket have gone the same way or are in the process.

I appreciate your kind words, but I'm not a tuner or a mechanic, just a fussy owner driver trying get the most from my equipment !!
What did that head set you back?

$4000 same as a reman. Quite a few new heads in the reman system as there was a shortage of old heads for a while. If you know the supplier well they let you crack the box open for a look to find a good one.
Very nice, I've noticed heaps of new e5 heads in RX boxes because so many useless ones get returned but the last few twin cam heads I've fitted have been really old castings.
I'm not sure if I'd be frightened of the older casts, they're quite potentially better steel than the new stuff
Progress has been pretty slow as I get time but getting close to being able to slot it in . Modified the timing cover for a nice big breather. Painted it in hi build primer and custom mix 2 pack .
