A window in the block helps it breathe better.

I don't know if C.A.R.B will allow such modifications. So tell the owner to stay out of Cali.

I think it has about 15,000 mi. On it now. So far so good, if I can get 6 years out of it I won't complain one bit.Yeah, I am used to Cat's with a retarder and jake which I thought was pretty good ... our new truck with same ISX beats the cat on jaking hands down!!!! We have had several issues so far and its usually the third stage on jake? I only get to drive it once in awhile so it hasn't happened to me but driver has been complaining .... its been to Peterbilt ..for two weeks in middle of summer ....they replaced there most favorite part ..the turbo ....and its happening again, probably in the 40,000 mile range.
