I'll get the ECM details together and programming so we can go to the next step.
What's so bad about 3.36 rears? My two new pete's have 3.25 with super singles. They run at 1300 at 65 mph and rarely downshift going up hills. Avg65-70k on a car hauler.

I have 3.36 too. At 65mph I get 1350rpm.There is no problem going flatland but going hills need to downshift abit. I average 8mpg.
Amazing what a greaae job can do....mileage went up to 6.8 and hit 7 for a while. Brakes must have b been binding a bit. Oil temps are too high ( 226+ most ofl the time )
Rawze was right about the bad airflow. Going to go synthetic next oil change.
Anybody use Lubrication Engineers products?
Looks like the Mothership is loosening up, I am getting a consistent 7 mpg loaded after getting the oil changed and fuel filters replaced. This is on level, slightly rolling terrain. The truck is getting better.
