So my service manual was mostly worthless on this subject. 400+ pages, but does not say anywhere what my truck takes in refrigerant, or the proper pressures. It did say to use 8 oz. of oil at least. I recently resealed the system and replaced the dryer, compressor and condenser, and while it seems to be working fine, this heat wave has been testing it...and it only works marginal when temps approach 100. I want to make sure its running right.

How do you guys think I should approach this?
A quick call to the dealership with the last 6 or 8 of the VIN. They should be able to tell you easily and specifically how much goes in your truck.
I dont generally charge off qty. Use ur gauges and find the right temp.
