is the cm871 a hard starter, below 32 degrees it will not start unless plugged in, seems to barely roll over on the warm days, have new batteries in it, is there a heavy duty starter for colder weather?

How old is the starter? Mine fired right up, 20* out here... I picked up a Mitsubishi HP starter up at FleetPride, good price and has been fine for the past 5 or so years.

Snds like a bad starter to me.
