With correct remote touch on the ECM , there's no need for oil bypass filter , because oil stays almost sparkling clean .

That remote computer stuff sure is convenient, but the extra time to go meet the guy that will tune it and drive it then re-tune it to get that little extra fuel $ that adds up for the next years....as well as the guy that replaces the dealer when I have problems in the future. Worth the trip to me.

Is the bypass hookup for cm2250 and 871 just about the same?
Where did you get that fitting that screws on the side of the block? Size?

The size for the fitting in the oil cooler is M14 to #8 jic
Return line into the block is M18 to #8 jic. You can get them at some hydraulic stores. I prefer steel fitting.
Be sure not to over torque them.
