I have a 505 hp 1850 torque looking for compatible cpl # was hoping for 550 or 600 hp 2050 torque
Ecm code hd10045. I've tried to use a Cummins Quickserv to compare CPL numbers with no luck . This unit is not deleted . This unit from the factory does not have programmed injector codes they're all blank how much would that help performance and fuel economy by programming injector numbers .thank you
Although there are slightly different settings for the Decomp tube (about 40 degrees difference in exhaust temp requirement for it to trigger) ... Program HD10194 (606/2050) would otherwise be 100% compatible.

I would say that the differences are minor in this case, and likely acceptable.. but one never knows long term.

It should also be noted that going from 1850 trq to 2050 trq is, on average, results in about 150-200k overall shorter engine life... depending on how hard it is driven / the lifetime fuel mileage. Some people cannot afford to have their engine inframed at 650k instead of at 800k. This is because all the added torque (on all ISX 2050 programs) is only in the bottom end, below 1400 RPM, where it hurts the engine the most.
Thank you for the information very big help. For the unit being a heavy haul 505 hp The stock there's some 450 hp 1650 torque that hold their own with mine . I've run the overhead the DPF and DOC filter replaced at 300,000 Good running truck just wanted to have a little bit more when needed . Thanks again
