joed2323, if you can't, or don't want to remove the mandate, a custom tune is your best option.
It will void your warantee, but it does not remove or de;ete any components. A well tuned,clean running engine will produce less soot dramatically reducing, but not 100% eliminating, your sensor and after-treatment issues.
You absolutely need to install a bypass filter to help get as much soot out of the oil.
