RE: Condensate in oil fill cap - DosGatos - 02-17-2019 Leak was at lower radiator hose to cross pipe. When very cold rubber is hard and constant torque clamp doesn't squeeze enough. Once the coolant warms up, no leak. Hose was original and swollen. New hose and clamps. Also a long term very small weep at hard line to sleeper heater core. Seal is compressed o rings. Rings were hard. Size was not available at the local hardware store so turned down a larger size to fit. Pressurized the system for 3 days in the snow with no loss and pronounced done. |
