That was done, only lasted 400 miles then same thing

If the wiring is good It could have actually gone bad again. You said it lasted 400 miles and did it again. Maybe a coolant flow issue not keeping it cool enough and it melted the electronics in it?

Plug to injector and wires from on the aftertreatment unit. More plugs are on the front of unit. You have to remove passenger side splash cover. Check wires under zip ties if it lose problem could be here. Pic is for reference.
