Back in the day, drivers referred to it as "the communist state". Some things never change.

When the length law was 55 ft. and speed limit 55, the favorite tool was a tape measure and a radar gun.
We use to sneek in the middle of the night over the border because 62 ft was easy to spot and a sure $300 ticket.
Big time outlaws! lol

Now that everyone is doing 80 mph and length doesn't matter, they had to find another racket.

Especially considering this too; proper shut down times of a class 8 diesel is about 5 to 15 minutes

This kind of law enforcement doesnt generate revenue.....but instead....you have to house and feed the people you deal with. They just cant afford that.
