That is nasty. No way to tell with all that oil and crud all over everything.

- Use some charcoal lighter fluid (or diesel fuel) in a pan (or garden sprayer) and a paint brush, zip-tied to a stick, to break up all the oil deposits. Clean it all up good.

Be sure to follow it up with liberal amount of soap and water mix (typically in a garden sprayer) to wash away the cleaning agent too, so that it is not a fire hazard when you go to crank it up.
