I didn't read the whole thread but also just checking your drag link on the steering too. Get a bottle Jack from harbor freight or someplace to lift the wheels up. As Waterloo said, start feeling and pulling on the wheels, joints, for unusual foreplay. Listen as well when you do this. Get a flashlight or headlight, harbor freight had them.
