(01-11-2025 )Mr Hagg Wrote:  A few years back I bought a short block from cummins brand new bock. was very nice. However, I notice writing on the top what looking like liner height info. It was all over the place from .010 with .013 next to it. I was blown away when we pulled the liners down it was correct. It also was signed off by 3 inspectors. I called the dealer they put me with someone at cummins and I was ask why would I check that to know... I was like well for one I have to stand behind this. He advised they cold ship me another but wuold take a few weeks. At this point I was like what keeps me from getting another one in the same shape. So I reached out to Rawze and hes like lets pull it down and redo it our self. Every since then I just build up my own blocks when I have one needing one. Crazy the quality that passed 3 others and was ok knowing these engines suffer bad from drop liners....

Yeah I’ve read that thread in my research over here. I wouldn’t be suprised if this long block was built of the same quality. It was built in the end of 2020.

I believe I spoke with you on Monday I was the one from East Tennessee that called if that rings a bell. Once the motors back together Ill be in touch with you guys to have some things looked at.
