As a side note - With the Volvo, you have to use a self adjusting clutch because of the slave cylinder. Hydraulic clutch pedals require self adjusting clutches. Eaton makes a 2050 self adjuster. Also, I made the mistake of not replacing a clutch on a Volvo that I own when I replaced the transmission. I tell everyone of my customers, put a clutch in every time we pull a transmission unless one was recently put in. I didn't take my own advice. I figured being a mechanic, I could manage the gamble. 6 months later it was out. I would also recommend motor mounts while the trans is out.

I only owned the Volvo because a friend got in a bind and it had a cummins. I sold it as soon as I could. My trucks are Petes. I only want quality trucks that are easier to work on.
