RE: SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 7/ SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 13 - Rawze - 09-02-2020 The actuator can be rebuilt for less than $200 bucks. ... the turbo can be re built by YTS for about $2500. -- I WILL SAY IT AGAIN ---- STOP GIVING YOUR MONEY AWAY -- THAT IS NO WAY TO RUN A SUCCESSFUL TRUCKING BUSINESS!!!!! -- NEVER PUT YOURSELF IN THAT MNDEST OF LETTING EVERYONE ELSE FIX ON YOUR TRUCK -- IT IS LIKE WASTING MONEY AS ID IT WERE GROWING ON TREES. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE ANYTHING TO SHOW FOR WHAT YOU DO IF YOU KEEP RUNNING OFF EVERYWHERE AND LETTING OTHERS DEAL WITH THE PROBLEMS YOU CAN LEARN TO DO YOURSELF!!! -- BUY SOME TOOLS... TAKE MATTERS INTO YOUR OWN HANDS!!!-- THAT IS HOW SOMEONE MAKES MONEY OUT HERE ANY MORE!!! Better off calling YTS Turbo in Griffin GA, he can ship one to you and it comes with a real warranty, something Cummins will not offer. It will be worth the wait. He handles the actuators too... ;-) RE: SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 7/ SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 13 - Roadranger - 09-04-2020 I already got the truck running. I have buddy in Chicago told me a shop that reman turbo and actuators, they shipped it in a day and wednesday my truck was ready. Fees way better now and the price wasn’t bad around $3300 for turbo witb actuator :)) RE: SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 7/ SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 13 - Chamberpains - 09-04-2020 Don't be surprised if that cheap unknown turbo lets you down in a very messy way. The aftermarket turbos out there are GARBAGE at best. Especially the ones coming out of NJ. YTS in Georgia is the only trusted turbo reman facility in the country. RE: SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 7/ SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 13 - Lonestar10 - 09-04-2020 Sounds like a China turbo or junkyard turbo would be surprised if dead by Christmas RE: SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 7/ SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 13 - Volvo8873 - 09-04-2020 Well with those cheap turbo's you can buy one get one free! LOL RE: SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 7/ SA 0 SPN 641 FMI 13 - Rawze - 09-04-2020 hopefully it was not these guys ... they are terrible... [attachment=7048] |
