275-80 will work. It slightly lower
275-80 = 220
295-75 = 221.25 all in milimeters

RE: need help - Nilao - 06-27-2018

On tires the 1st number is the tread width in mm. The second number is the height of the sidewall in % of treadwidth.

PS, michelin doesn't make a 295 tire. Only 275.

RE: need help - lonestar16 - 06-27-2018

yes i understand how the numbers work just wasnt sure if a 295 75 was the same as a 275 80..have goodyear on the steer now but one went out on me in the shop only have 275 80 bf goodwrench was just cheecking to make sure there the same........but thank to snailexprees for his help we should be good to ride in the morning in were see how good the bf r on this 800 mile run i have

RE: need help - Waterloo - 06-28-2018

I'm going to throw a wrench in this, if a ProStar or LoneStar, I would go with a 16 ply steer over a 14 ply steer. Those front ends are heavy. Just my .02 ;-)

RE: need help (steer tire advice) - lonestar16 - 06-28-2018
