Just bought my first ISX - zhuk_916 - 10-25-2018
Hello, I’m new to this group. Little bit about myself worked as a diesel tech for 5-6 years then about 2 years ago god my CDL and started car hauling. This week ran across a really good deal on a truck I really couldnt pass up. Got a 99 Volvo 770 with a Signature 600 and a bad auto 10-speed. Currently in the process of putting a 13 in there. I do all my own work. The truck has 773k original miles on it. It stood for over 4 years at a storage yard. I want to make the truck reliable so my plan is to
- Install AMSOIL bypass.
- Replace oil pump (shim it) + rod and main bearings.
- Valve adjust (clean all the oil passages)
- Install boost gauge + pyro.
- FASS lift pump.
Is there anything else you guys would recommend doing?

the FASs lift pump is not going to do anything for it, just letting you know. Total waste of money unless you have a special need of some sort.
