2011 kw t660 leaning on passenger side?? - jimeneztrans84 - 12-15-2019 I noticed a couple months ago my truck was leaning a good 2" lower on passenger side than drivers side. I checked the springs for cracks, replaced shocks, steer tires, alignment and still the same. I also changed sleeper air bags, shocks 1 month ago. I cant really see the cab bushings that well they are tucked really good under passenger seat area. Any thoughts? It's starting to bug me now. RE: 2011 kw t660 leaning on passenger side?? - Mattman - 12-15-2019 Is it the body leaning or the frame? RE: 2011 kw t660 leaning on passenger side?? - jimeneztrans84 - 12-15-2019 I only measured the body. From floor to hood on top of tire. No accidents ant 736k I'll measure the frame today RE: 2011 kw t660 leaning on passenger side?? - tree98 - 12-15-2019 How about some pics? RE: 2011 kw t660 leaning on passenger side?? - marek4792 - 12-15-2019 Right side steer leaf springs could be worn causing a lean due to engine torque twisting the body towards it. RE: 2011 kw t660 leaning on passenger side?? - Moose - 12-15-2019 8-bag? The "KW lean" Pete's do it too. They seem to be using cheaper and cheaper materials. My pass side was 1.25" lower, driver side measured correctly. I ended up putting two new springs on and re-shimmed. Like mentioned above, find a good level slab and get to measuring. RE: 2011 kw t660 leaning on passenger side?? - jimeneztrans84 - 12-15-2019 I'll take some pics and post RE: 2011 kw t660 leaning on passenger side?? - Brock - 12-15-2019 As said already, its the passenger leaf spring. RE: 2011 kw t660 leaning on passenger side?? - jimeneztrans84 - 12-15-2019 Do I just replace with new oem spring or get a stiffer spring? |
