oil sampleresults - Neighbor - 03-15-2020 oil sample Can I get some feed back on my results. It is an cm 870, with egr valve still on and working , 500hp, 13 spd, 3.73 rears. Mileage 865000. However though... if you have 800k miles on it then it is well due for new rod and main bearings. -- You need to do this now and not wait any longer. - Doing this will ensure the bottom end (wrist pins especially) holds up well into the 1.3+ million mile range, and not doing it now ( recommended at 800k) will become a curse later on that will haunt you ias the engine makes it past a million. RE: oil sampleresults - JimT - 03-15-2020 Appears to be tested by Horizon Labs. Same one I use, but through a different company. I have nothing bad to say about them. They are usually pretty quick and provide plenty of information. Although, I haven't used any others to compare with. |
