Wonderer, do not give up on this site. It truly is here to help. Trouble is many come hear to this forum with a fixed and closed mind that gets rather frustrating.
Some are clueless, some are desperate, most are just trying to survive in this business we call Trucking.
This site is truly a gift that should be cherished and valued for the information and wisdom that is not based on sales or propaganda.

If you can understand a 90s turbo 7.3 diesel with a catalytic converter a Cummins only has like 3 differences the cat is more closely monitored the turbo has a ring that can change it from a big to a small exhaust impellor and the fuel is already at a high psi instead of hydraulicly pressurized other than that it's just got bigger jugs and supporting parts
