I'm looking to purchase another truck this new to me truck has a c15 caterpillar and I'd like to do a compression test. In one of rawze videos he made a pvc pipe with clear tubing device to monitor the compression coming from the engine. My question is can this same method be performed on a c15 acert thanks in advance

I think you are referring to the manometer test, it gives you some idea of how much blowby the engine is producing. This is entirely different than a compression test but yes it will work on the Cat.
