depends on the type of springs and bushings. The service manual for the brand/make of axle is likely the place to find those answers.

If you take most of the weight of the chassis with a jack and move the spring shackles with a bar you'll see how much movement they have. You'll also notice a clunk or knock when you quickly turn both ways like at a roundabout if they have a fair bit of movement.

I’m going to see if I could find the manual.Would a spring shop be the best place to get it looked at?
