KW900L - biscuits and gravy - 02-27-2016

Has anybody converted their rear 8 bag set up on an older W900 to a 4 bag set up? Mine is a 1990 truck and a few years after that KW updated to 4 bags.

I'm interested if it would be a better ride quality.

I had 2 2000 W900L's with 8 bag system and I didn't think they rode to bad. Now I have a 08 W900L with the AG380 and in my opinion I think its rides a lot better.

Sounds good and thank you.

I'm going to check a little more on those and see if I can update to a later model set up and possibly update the sleeper cab to a later model style air bags and shocks.

I drove a '98 T800 with 8 bag for 500k +. You learned to tie everything down when you got tired of picking it up from the floor. Also good training for bucking broncos.

Thank you Mrkentee, and that's funny, also what I'm afraid of with this older set up. Plus I like projects to do on my trucks. Keeps a man out of trouble.

Coming back to update the progress.

The KW air ride 8 bag set up has been worth it. It rides better than my 4 bag set up on my 9900ix. It was a nice surprise when I loaded it with 44k on the wagon.

The project turned into more money and time because my top mounting plates were degraded. So I had to buy new top mounting plates.

Pain in the ass but finally in there.

What kind of leveling valve do run? I put a Hadley quick response leveling valve on seems to make difference.

I don't know the name on my leveling valve, but your advice sounds good. I will take a look at mine and see what it is.
