Fuel filter I have a 2000 Peterbilt 379 with Cummins isx. I’m only seeing a Fuel/water separator on it with a plug. Is that normal?

RE: Fuel filter My CM570 also had the same deal when I first bought it, they IFSM has a bowl plug instead of main fuel filter! Just replace bowl with main Fuel Filter, fleet guard preferably and top off filter with clean diesel before install. There’s also screen filters on the fuel line going into IFSM , I bet yours are pretty dirty by just running 1 filter!

The fuel line screen is serviceable if not damaged used carburetor cleaner or equivalent. Also replace all O ring gaskets on the fuel line removed. One more filter is located under IFSM facing down, Its has a cap with another screen filter serviceable again unless damaged.
