Remove A/C Schrader valves without discharging the system
Call me slow if this tool is common knowledge but damn, I just found out from my HVAC buddy that they have a tool that can remove and replace Schrader valves without totally discharging the system.

Here's a what a quick Amazon check found MASTERCOOL (81490 R134A Valve Core Remover Installer, Yellow Gold, 6.8 inch https://amzn.to/3nywPGC

And here a YouTube video I watch to see how it works. This is a house unit but the concept is the same. https://youtu.be/t69uLxmM5XE

Pretty slick idea... we’d be in the same boat, because I had never thought to even look for a tool like that.

I have a set of those. Problem is that on a prostar, it does not fit due to the valve pointed directly at the firewall on the low pressure side.

Yeaaa, def seems like the tool would require a decent amount of space.
