Star Governed at 65
Truck is governed at 65mph running @ 1500 rpm in the last gear. It’s a 13 speed 18913a. 3.73 ratio. Is ok to bump it up to about 75. I’m thinking if I do that the rpm will go up to like 1700?
Thoughts? Thanks

RE: Governed at 65
Its far better to turn off the gear down protection and run it in higher rpm ranges a gear or 2 down instead of trying to scream down the roads at 70+.

The GD protection option makes it to where you cannot rev engine past 1500 rpm when its not in top gear.
