Want to replace the EGR section with non Knowing that back pressure sensor is used for correcting timing. Since that I have a question. How important is the angle of sensor on manifold and length of that tube between manifold and sensor? This sensor "listens" or pressure fluctuations to determine detonation and excessive back pressure. How smart are those ecm s for listening to "noise" on back pressure sensor? And since this sensor is reading analogue pressure it can have some noise in it that will be filtered out before the data is acknowledged by ECM. | |||
