RE: ISB 6.7 CM2150 problem So I was having a problem with Calterm 5.13. It didn't like any of the config files that were in the BAD folder. I could see from the stock .CAL file that it was BAD CM2150D 6.4.2.1, but also had a version 6.4.1.10. It didn't like either of these or any of the other files (compatibility error). I didn't have my other laptop handy that had Calterm 3.17, which probably would have worked. Is there a work around with Calterm to get the .CAL file without choosing a config file? Seems it will not connect without it. How does Insite connect without a config file, but Calterm needs it? Does anyone have ... {rest of post removed. software trading on the forum in public areas is forbidden}.

RE: ISB 6.7 CM2150 problem I also have a BAD. For backup purpose, 6.4.1.10 is ok.

RE: ISB 6.7 CM2150 problem So I bit the bullet and installed a new turbo, and as I suspected, that didn't change anything. Still won't rev past 1000rpm (still stumbling and lots of grey smoke). Idles just fine, but no boost. Anybody have any ideas? Injectors maybe? The Injector cutout test seemed to pass fine.

Idles just fine, but no boost. did you do what I said to do in this post?... https://rawze.com/forums/showthread.php?...6#pid80656 Did you put a gap between the manifold and turbo and run it to see if it goes past 1,000 rpm, and runs freely?. Did you also open up a gap at the intake manifold so that intake can breathe and do same test?. User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.

RE: ISB 6.7 CM2150 problem Rawze, you were right on the money! I didn't loosen up the turbo, but I did remove the intake horn and there it was! The grid heater was completely blocked with soot! Got it all cleaned and vacuumed out and now it runs like a raped ape! Should I be worried about soot in the intercooler, or is that not usually a problem? (I realize that the EGR system was the culprit, but some soot was going through the intercooler also)

If it got into the CAC then at some point, you might want to remove it and clean it all out with some diesel fuel, followed by several flushes of soapy water to make it safe again.
