| Wait starter cool down enforced Need help I just parked at the flying j and turned off my truck kenworth t660 2012 cummins isx15 and went inside after I came back my truck would not turn over like nothing would happen I turned the key and I got a code saying wait starter cool down enforced if anyone know what happened please let me know | |||

| RE: Wait starter cool down enforced Haven't heard of an ISX doing that but plenty of Detroit DD15's. The starter on the DD15 is located on the exhaust side and would overheat due to bleed-off from the exhaust manifold if you shut if off after climbing a big hill. | RE: Wait starter cool down enforced The is a terminal off the starter relay for over crank protection, one wire. I left it off and wrapped up because we're smart enough to know not to do it.
