2004 ISM I'm new here, so not sure if this will get me anywhere. My brother in law has a 2004 International farm truck with a Cummins ISM engine he's been having some trouble with. It has had a turbo lag since he got it, and just had a mechanic block the EGR, but the mechanic claimed he couldn't reprogram the ECM because it had 2 ECMs, that wouldn't let him modify the programming. My brother inlaw knew I had just started on this forum and wanted me to check with you guys to see what your thoughts were on how he should proceed. The truck had a rebuilt engine installed just before he got it and it has a little less than 300k miles now. (Engine replaced at 200k). Is there a way to get some private help on the EGR issues also. Thanks. | |||
