International Tractors Im looking in to buying a 06 international tractor with a cummins ism. Is it true INTERNATIONALS are prone to electrical problems? Is there anything I can do to be proactiv? Also, are 06 ISM's good engines? I plan on tuning the EGR unit if i ever get it. Rawze is the best!

RE: International Tractors All trucks are prone to Electrical problems. Some worse than others. Being it's an 06 it'll be a lot simpler than the newer trucks. I have an 2006 9400i and it's still what I'd consider in the "basic" truck wiring world. You can get most International wiring diagrams and schematics for free online. I think it's under Truckbuilder or something like that. I had to buy mine on Ebay for $30. But well worth it to have wire codes and plug layouts.
