CM2250 gear lube reccomendation

I was in a Walmart were the super-tech they had was only GL5. Is that ok for a demandated 2350 ?

I use the sta-lube GL-4 most of the time. The walmart (super-tech) 80-90 GL-5 is what I alternatively use.

I just poured some 85w 140 supertech from walmart in mine today. Pretty thick stuff.

far as I know the gear lube is also good to help protect the camshaft as they can get eaten away if no overhead valve adjustment hasn't been done properly as well
