1999 Volvo D12. Where the heck is the air governor? Another shop replaced drier and compressor and for the life of me i cant find the governor. Wont stop building air.

I believe D12 governor is mounted right on the compressor.

I figured that as well. Not there unless the last shop omitted it! LOL

Look on the fire wall where the hood makes its curve from flat to vertical. Air line for brakes and what not are right there also. It’s got a schrader valve on it on my truck. Pictures coming. Admit I can’t figure out why these pictures are always turned 90 degrees. Put your head on sideways maybe you can figure out what I’m talking about.

This one is for Cummins engine. D12 has different compressors and governor location depends on which compressor is installed.
