RE: New Truck - X15 Advice
one of my customers fleet used all extended drain (30000-50000mile) intervals on their isx's with oil sampling. They have all been rebuilt withing 150,000-250,000 miles. all 9 of them. and they are all 2250's and 2350's demandated and no warranty.

Schaffers is shi#t, its doesnt work people just change your dam oil.

Food for thought .
And I am sure uni will back me up.
I live in a far ,far away land where the eskimos, wild unilievers, wild hammeheads inhabit the land .
It aslo can get a little cold ,as in your piss freezes before it hits the ground .

The point is myself ,including others ALL run 15-40 year round so don't think you need lighter oil for colder weather .
I could be , probably wrong , but hey it's my 40,000$ dollar timex.

I shot this video a few months back when we got some really cold temps. Might change your mind about what you run in the winter months, might not. It’s not an advertisement, just the brands I’ve used.

15W40 is all I have ever run in the near 30 years I have been in this godforsaken racket. I would worry more about the fuel you put in the tanks than the oil.
