And have you popped the top on the motor to inspect the camshaft and rollers? I wonder what that looks like? I can see some chewed up rollers from here.

Ok waterloo i will do that for sure . I am not going back to the shop that messed up my delete . I am going to a mechanic that put in my motor and he is the one that did delete and i Didnt have any issues for a good while . The shop that messed up on my delete was the one that did the injector cups and without telling me had to update program then he told me He will reprogram it for 500 and i dont think they did it right .
So im going back to shop that did the original delete that i never had issues with . I aready told him situation and told him i want fuel pump checked and want to rebuilt the gut and he told me he will open pump and show and explain it to me . Also for the dpf he told me he is going to connect to the ecm and see what is going on with program . When this guy did original delete i remember they put holes in the cans . I will have the cans checked and tell them to hollow it .

Let me be a bit blunt. Ur mechanic is prolly a damm idiot and shouldnt be allowed anywhere near an isx engine. Take it to Mr Haggai in GA so he can clean the engine out and rebuild it along with the pump and fuel system. After hes done with that he can redo the demandate so ur engine runs properly. Its almost like the engines telling u whats wrong with it and these half ass wrench turners are too damn dense to listen to it. Theres a reason ur losing fuel psi and that reason is likely because ur damn pump is shedding parts right on schedule. Now u can either take our advice and take the truck to one of only a cpl shops that knows wtf they're doing or u can take it to ur "reputable shop" and keep getting ur money taken to f&*k ur engine.

You do not understand, nor do you know how these motors or programming work. A crap delete will run fine for the first year or more, and then it bites you in the rear. I bet those cans of yours were never properly hollowed out, and you are now seeing the results as they clog and destroy your motor. Then the fuel pump... You keep taking it to this guy, no need to be here, sounds like you have it figured out. Good luck!

I have not taken the head of and it will cost 5 k and i dont want to do that right now . My main concerns i want to address is the fuel pump and the delete programing to have it programed right . . Im gonna have the fuel pump checked pressure tested and opened to inspect inside . My driver checked and had no particles in the fuel filter and he told me that the truck today took hills doing70- 75 like nothing and it was loaded 15 k . Im gonna have pump opened and checked and i will also have it rebuild but just wondering why some shops says its not good to rebuilt pump with aftermarket parts And instead should replace ??? I will have motor inspected/ pump inspected/ and check the computer to see whats going on with programing . Please tell me if i am going the right direction??

Dont know what else i can do because i cannot drive to mr haggs in ga from cali . Thats why im taking to guy i think knows best and takes his time to explain everything and show me not like other mechanics who always rush you off phone and dont explain shi#t in person .

Dude, inspecting the camshaft and rollers does not require you to remove anything other than the valve cover! A simple 1/4" ratchet and a 10mm socket is all that is required.

The cans, get your tool set out and remove them to inspect, a ratchet and sockets is all you need.

You can do the same to inspect your fuel pump, a ratchet and sockets! Plenty of YouTube videos here and all over the internet on how to inspect and rebuild these things.

Time for you to get your hands dirty and educate yourself, you keep relying on these clowns to repair your truck you will be out of business in a month or two at the rate you are going.

You will need the EIN number, that is your Engine Identification Number and it is located on the driver side of the motor, normally on the side of the valve cover. Take that number and register your motor on QuickServe. Everything about your motor is there, from parts to how to diagnose, repair, rebuild, etc. I in framed my motor in Rawze's driveway using QuickServe on my iPhone along with the videos found on this site.

expensiv$$$ engine is not worth any gambles on how you or your driver feel it runs. that is total BS statement.

have your super-duper 'delete' mehcanic send copy of the program he is putting in your engine to Rawze's email address for a proper review/inspection to see if there's any safety or excess wear/stress issues it may cause grief with. if ur that confident with it and so is ur super-mechanic who cant even hollow out the cans properly but instead only make a few holes like idiot.. and its such good a program, it will come out squeaky clean on a review.
