RE: C13 whats the need for a cat? what type of truck are we talking doing what kind of work? if the truck chosen is going to be for hauling freight i dont think any of them would be worth having. RE: C13 2007 shouldn't have a 3406 engine unless someone put it in. Would figure 2007 truck would have a C15 Acert engine without a DPF. User's Signature: 2015 Kenworth T660

The Freightliner trucks are like 2002 or ,2003 models. The C15 engines are in 2006 peterbilt trucks that I was referring to. User's Signature: 2015 Kenworth T660

RE: C13 Are these dump trucks or day cabs? A C12 is a weak engine but was ok in like a dump truck ... If a day cab will have to be geared low to pull ok... The bigger cat maybe like a c15 a 3406 would be in like a really older truck.. Give us more details on what they are and what you are planning on doing with them.. Makes a world of difference when used in the right application..

RE: C13 Ok so the C12 if 3.70 will get the job done just will take its time.... the 2007 cat should be a twin turbo acert C15 their a great engine when working correctly... But they have had many issues with IVA's but all in all a good engine....
