The engine file that you sent me has been made to be more 'relaxed' but it is NOT de-mandated. This means that the engine is constantly changing operating modes (there are more than 13+) and choosing different settings depending on environment, conditions, loads, etc.. all in attempts to keep clamping its emissions output to some medium degree. - Such is how a typical non-deleted engine runs. With it set that way, a load can be delivered, the cement poured, the bulk tank emptied, the garbage payload dropped off, the fire put out, etc.etc.etc.. without it shutting you down suddenly with little to no warnings. Such is needed for trucks that cannot regen properly due to city driving only, or constant stop-go operations, etc. - ALL the systems still operate and need their regular attention/maintenance, and therefore can/will have all the same issues when neglected,.,. but with 'relaxed' programming, it happens a bit less often, and the truck is not going to completely hut down on its own. The actual shutdown and protections are completely at the drivers descression. The emissions systems controls on modern engines also has a higher priority than the engines power/torque output on a non-deleted engine. This means that the boost will always be up or down a bit, the power will come and go at times due to how it 'assumes' it needs to clamp emissions, etc. to keep it compliant. The emissions output, the turbo, the EGR system, and everything else is still factory set as a 'closed loop' systems, where when it will try to control sensor 'Inputs' instead of meeting 'Outputs', with regard to all these systems, making it somewhat unpredictable in how it operates at any given moment. - When the systems are made more lenient (but not de-mandated), like in the case of yours,... every system still operates, but it does so with more relaxed states. It complains less, and is not going to shut down, leaving you on the side of the road, but all the systems are still there, doing there thing... including regen systems, engine output monitoring, and every thing else. - This also means that if you drive it against clogging up systems, DPF warnings, etc. then you do so at the determent of the engine, and eventual severe engine damage if ignored long enough. That type or programming is NOT any kind of 'get out of jail free' card of any sorts,.. but only a band-aide that someone can use to get them to down the road a bit further and to a repair shop when the systems DO act up, preventing them from shutting down or in a derate in the middle of nowhere.
