RE: crank case pressure When mine did the very same thing, forcing coolant from the tank, and landing on the truck parked to mine. It turned out being a bad head gasket. I would at least pull the head, and make an informed decision, based on what you discover. I really believe you will need to replace the head, and probably both cams But before you pull the head, find out if you have a bad engine air compressor, or a bad egr cooler.
