Actually that statement is only half correct. The injection timing itself is electronic as there is no injector cam in the newer engines, but the overhead valve timing is still set with a wedge and can slip. Just tryong to clarify for those unfamiliar with these newer engines.

It is good that you found it, and that it was not in the engine itself, but I still say you need a boost and pyro gauge in it if you really want to own that thing long term. It will help you in so many ways it is not funny.

cummins said that they could have thrown a wedge in to see if it was off but said if it was even a little off the motor would throw a code as the newer engines are picky.

and yes def getting a boost and pyro gauge for sure lol

its suppose to be done thurs, ill let you know how it runs
