My own experience with them dictates that much above about 215 kpa is not great, above 230kpa would start vibration under heavy torque load, and 250+ would be bad. Just some reference. RE: 2014 isx vibration (03-06-2016 )race7820000 Wrote: carrier bearing is good. going to cummins tomm and going to have them mess with the timing and ecm to see if that helps I'd go back and double check that carrier bearing. I had a similar problem. I always check it when I grease the truck and it got past me. If it is even slightly cocked it can give you that kind of vibration. Once I changed the carrier bearing it went away. If the shafts aren't indexed right you can also get vibration by it being a couple of teeth out. Check that bearing is at right angle an not pitched forward or backwards. Mine was still tight but the rubber bushing was torqued about 5 degrees. Pinion nut is one time use only. Also might check that any balancing weights haven't been thrown . I would still follow the other suggestions on timing. User's Signature: 2010 386 Pete CM871, 13 spd. 3.55

RE: 2014 isx vibration Well they say motor is perfect, no issues found. They drove it and said they got alot of chatter from the clutch, they think its that. It's a solo clutch and they said they are junk I don't know what to do. Cause if I have a shop drop trans I might as well change the clutch

RE: 2014 isx vibration Just a idea. Have u checked the wheel bearings for proper torque. I just got educated. Cause mine vibrates under load. Cummins tells me it's the worn cam. I think it trans. Related. Ever since clutch put in has had vibration.

RE: 2014 isx vibration Well I found the vibration and the chatter..... the chatter in the dash was the clutch slipping , it was a solo clutch, I put a easy pedal back in. The vibration that felt like a u joint was several things. The pilot bearing was bad, the input shaft bearing on trans was bad, and there was some gear with teeth missing that the input shaft turns inside the trans. Thought I would share

Good to know! I am having an Easy Pedal installed in mine this week, along with a new pilot, input shaft, etc...

RE: 2014 isx vibration (03-07-2016 )race7820000 Wrote: .. Actually that statement is only half correct. The injection timing itself is electronic as there is no injector cam in the newer engines, but the overhead valve timing is still set with a wedge and can slip. Just trying to clarify for those unfamiliar with these newer engines. It is good that you found it, and that it was not in the engine itself, but I still say you need a boost and pyro gauge in it if you really want to own that thing long term. It will help you in so many ways it is not funny. User's Signature: ->: What I post is just my own thoughts and Opinions! --- I AM Full Of S__T!.
