Clutch brake

It was the original one piece and the replacement is a 2 piece

A lot of damage to input shaft and other clutch components has been caused in the past when people remove 1 piece brake because they can be a bastard to get them to break to remove them, I see most people use a air hammer to break them often small frags can lodge into pressure plate area or ? Shaft nicks very common ... The two faces should fairly smooth but not dry,small amount of lube their is what is recommended there. The pull tabs on the fork to bearing around an 1/8 ish, around 1/2 between the 2 faces.. with clutch pedal up you should be able to slide brake smoothly on input shaft... Set the 1/2 on brake first then linkage... which clam did you use there are oversize thickness ones also,look at linkage to see if it has been adjusted this will give you insight also...just my 2
