I've come to know something strange about your 2009 Volvo as well, and this may help you...
If the engines in your pictures are from your truck(s), including the salvage one, neither engine is a CM 2250. Both engines in the pictures in your post are most assuredly CM871's.
CM2250's are common injector rail engines, and DO NOT have IFSM's on them. Also CM871 EGR crossover pipes go around the back of the engine right above the flywheel housing, like in your pictures, and CM2250 EGR crossovers go over the rocker cover, unlike your photos.
Just thought you should know.
