If you have a business plan in place that you follow, Tools should be a line item in the plan. I plan to spend $$ on tools every year. Tools are in all reality the best investment we make. Take Waterloo's $200 wrench set, if he uses it to complete 50 odd repairs over their lifetime, and each repair saves him a measly $50, that is a 12.5:1 return on investment!
