RE: Cm871 swap to a N14 swapping a n14 into a new truck is EXTREMELY HARD. N14 run Positive commons instead or ground common. So now you have to go through the entire truck and isolate the entire common system for the ecm or it will short out and fry the second you hook it up - can you guess how many connections there are on a truck in the common system that go to a ground? also n14's cannot handle electronic dash's (except for that stupid translator box which is 100% garbage) so have fun hardwiring the entire dash to old style gauges. You are also not a legal truck and can be pulled for not complying with emissions years unless you register it as a glider. You should not have done this, i have done it myself on 2 occasions before and i will never do it again. Uni | |||
