RE: 2010 Lonestar
Well first week out i have no idea if they effected my fuel mileage as i literally pushed a 25-40MPH headwind/crosswind all week. I can say for some of the weights and load types i was pulling.

Load of bagged rock/sand 77k gross to menards on a normal route sioux falls to omaha few hills that would bring me down to around 55 i climbed up and over doing 60-62 without shifting outa 13th. used to be always in 12th and have to drop into 11th.

went accross i80 east of omaha to des moines then up 35 heading towards Michigan with 62k gross of stacked PVC pipe. so not only did i have a head/cross wind also had a million little parachutes. most hills across there would have had me in 11th to 10th to climb never left 13th from omaha to des moines

came back down from Kingsford MI to des moines with 78k gross of tarped siding wind was bad enough it was toppling trees into power lines as i had to change my fuel stop due to no power ;<. running 58ish even with the wind on MI/WI 2 lane she seemed to do awesome 67-70 on I39 with the wind was rough but she sat in 13th and held her own.

so to cap it off...i got some pulling power now. now if mother nature would just piss off and let me have some nice weather to drive in im gona say i probably gained fuel mileage overall.

Runs about
1475ish RPM - 65MPH
1575ish RPM - 70MPH
1675ish RPM - 75MPH

my liometer is way off and i rarely get a chance to fill my tanks so its hard to judge actual fuel mileage perfect.

but my Liometer always used to hang around a 3.5 3.6 Avg and now its running around 4.0 average and with the average i figoure its reading about 1.3-1.5 low. and i usualy reset it weekly

so maybe i gained a .5 MPG or maybe the avg just simply changed idk. if i did gain .5MPG that .5MPG will pay the gears off in 6-7 months at my current MPG/Doller per Mile average.

Bill was 6,300 with 2 brand new drop in rearends 1 ujoint 2 new yokes 2 axles, 4 axle seals, 75/90 syn gear lube and other various parts labor was $768 and i didnt touch a single wrench so im happy with it.
