Dropping the oil pan

Those Femco drains look nice, if you were servicing in the field or at the house. you can drain and fill from it with the right tools. For Speedco or TA/Petro, I guess it would be ok, is it easy to turn and lock into place without a hose fitting on it? The Fumoto is pretty much fool proof, been running those for years.
