Arrived on a Whiting frack site tonight, the gal at the entrance checked me in and read me the site rules... Then the fun began... She asked me if I had a "Basin" card, being the wise truck driver that I am, I said yes... LOL! Then she asks to see it! WTF? Nope, ain't got that one. She said I am not allowed on the site, but that she will make an exception because they need the diesel fuel I brought them. Then she tells me I must go see the company man to gain entry and deliver the fuel they desperately need.

Well, the company man was not in his trailer, so I called dispatch, explained the situation and told me to head to another site, as there was another driver in the area that could deliver. So I go to leave, the gal at the gate says no I cannot leave, this is getting interesting...

So, she asks about the company man, I told her he was not in his trailer and that I was not going to wander around on her site due to myself not having this special card.

Oh God... Come with me, he is in THIS trailer, the command trailer across the pad... He is not there... So back to his trailer, and there he is with the Jr company man...

Go inside, she explains the card issue, company man laughs, he does not have one either, nor does Jr!

I still leave, other driver gets lost, I go back and deliver the fuel... What a night.

Oh, the driver that they were going to send to take my place, he does not have this card either... Can't make this sheet up.
