RE: AG 380 vs AG 400L (suspension) I don't think the AG 400 system is going to ride better than the AG380. AG 380 is the same as the Peterbilt flex air which I have on my rig and its the smoothest I have ever driven personally. I wouldn't want to deal with an AG 400 8 bag system either. But it really depends on what you are using it for. The 380 system is lighter spec'd than other configurations but it handles my 140000lb B trains through the field during harvest no problem. For on highway AG 380 is hard to beat. Definitely want to have diff locks if using it off-road though. The 8 bag system will provide better and more consistent tire contact in off-road conditions and has a slightly higher ride height. Again it all depends what your doing with it.
