RE: Good fuel card Thought I'd revive this thread since it's been a couple years now. Any new developments in fuel cards? I'm still a single O/O and run about 100-110k a year. Just curious if anyone has switched from another card or have come across another account with a better fuel savings. Currently, I'm still running my Chase business card with the 2.5pts per dollar spent on fuel. That with the mom n pop stop I hit gets me some decent prices where I run within the Gulf states area. Once you calculate the monetary value of the points, it comes out to roughly $ .05 off per gallon (according to last year's figures). My last fill up was about $2.64/gal when you figure the pts with the mom n pop price. - Unfortunately, now that Alabama has decided to crank up their fuel tax as of last year, it may be beneficial to revisit fuel card options. After just paying nearly $100 on IFTA for last quarter, I wasn't too happy. *Moose, you still running the same card you recommended a couple years back? That seems to make the most sense for the lane we travel. | |||
